Jérôme Bressy
A wonderful vineyard of 13 ha of slopes, banks, verges in the Rasteau appellation in the Rhone valley.
Farming and wine growing has been completely organic since 1989 and they comply with Bio Dynamic since 2007.
Jérôme Bressy thinks that this kind of farming is not a goal in itself but he believes it is the only way to achieve what he wants to: get the most noble and beautiful expression from the terroir and make a great wine!
Seven different grape varieties come into his Rasteau red, from vines of 45 to 90 years old and yield between 12 and 18 hl/ha!!
Aristotle said « there is no genius without a grain of madness ».
For me, Jérôme Bressy is exactly this, genius with a grain of madness!
