Jean Sébastien & Henry Marionnet
The Marionnet family has established in the east part of Touraine in 1850.
Henry Marionnet helped reconstructing the vineyards between 1967 and 1976.
The words to characterize this domain would be « Rare », « Special » and « Exclusive ».
Rare because in this 60ha vineyard, we can find ungrafted vines! All the Vinifera selection comes only from ungrafted vines.
Special because of some unique cuvées like the « First Harvest », wine made with no sulphur or the « Cuvée M » produced only in exceptional vintages when the ripeness is naturally very high!
Exclusive because here is the only place in France and in the world to have the oldest vineyard: 155 years old, planted with this historic variety the Romorantin.
